If you are in the market for an environmentally friendly snow thrower, then check out what the Greenworks company has to offer. Greenworks is all about creating products that are friendly to the environment. That is why they manufacture electric home and garden tools, instead of gas powered devices that will create emissions that can be harmful.
They have a great line of electric powered snow blowers that are offered at 3 different price points and target 3 different size jobs. On the low end, they make an entry level power shovel called the Greenworks 26012. Their middle offering is the Greenworks 26022, which is an electric powered snow thrower on wheels. On the high end, they have the Greenworks 26032, which is their most powerful snow thrower suited for bigger jobs.

Greenworks 26022
While the Greenworks 26022 doesn’t have the directional chute (like its big brother the 26032), it does have a powerful 9 amp electric motor. This motor is capable of taking snow that is 16 inches wide and 6 inches deep and throw it as far as 25 feet away. This is an inexpensive blower that will work well year round in most parts of the country.

Greenworks 26012
The Greenworks 26012 is their answer to the popular Toro Power Shovel, and is very similar in performance and capability. The 26012 is a 7 amp hand held snow thrower that does well with 4 inch snow falls. It will cut a 12 inch path and throw the snow around 20 feet away. If you can’t justify purchasing a full blown snow blower, but are tired of using the old snow shovel, then take a closer look at the Greenworks 26012.
